A modern version of an old idea. In the past, when someone came visiting to spend time with your daughter, they couple would sit in a room and a candle would be lit. On the candle an extinguisher would be set. They were told, when the candle was extinguished the young man would have to leave. A very civilised alarm clock :)
Although not a replica of the original, this candle extinguisher is a perfect accessory for every home. It is made to go on 2 cm wide candle sticks (our original candles sticks are perfect). Just slide in on to the point you would like to extinguish the candle, eg our candle sticks burn 2 cm in an hour. When the candle burns this time the extinguisher gently snuffs the flame out.
Metal. Available in two colours, silver and gold. Made for straight candle sticks 2cm wide. Will not fit on tapered candles.
