Sometimes you need a longer burning candle but also one that doesn’t mind being “off and on” through out the day. Our Votive is made for this, it is one of the great all-rounder candles.

Each candle has a burn time of approximately 14+  hours in the glass holder provided.

Many families use the Votive in bedrooms when reading a story for the kids, or for those who like to have a relaxing candle lit bath, the candle light is big enough to fill the room.

Like all our candles, these also fill your room with a relaxing aroma. Most of the customers say they buy our candles for the honey, floral aroma. Other beeswax candles filter everything out so there is no aroma, but we keep all the good things in that the bees gather so you can enjoy the beautiful scent nature provides. Since 2006 Happy Flame has hand made beeswax candles in the Northern Rivers of NSW, Australia.


Our beeswax is sourced from the local area and is renown for being the highest quality and cleanest in Australia.



We do not add anything to our beeswax. Your candles are 100% beeswax. That means no oils, no additives, and definitely no other types of wax.



Our candle wicks are made of cotton, no metals or other nasty materials.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a minimum time I should burn the Votive candles?

Minimum ideal burn time is 90 minutes for the votives candles. This allows the candle to burn to the edge.

Do the Votive candles need a glass holder to burn in?

Yes, our votive candles are made to burn in our glass holders as the candles will overflow int the holder as they burn. If you prefer a free standing candle (without the need for glass) we have small and large pillar candles to help. Click on this link to go to our pillar candle range.

A new staple in my house

The finest beeswax candles

I have been using Happy Flame organic beeswax votive candles for a couple of years. These beautiful candles burned well with strong steady flame all the way. The golden light gives peace and calmness. The bottom of the candle holder is clean and clear of no visible particles at the end. So glad I found Happy Flame

This is my first purchase from Happy Flame and I absolutely love the candles. I've noticed recently that my bedside LED lamp contributes to anxiety by subtly overstimulating the nervous system. As soon as I switched to candle flame I felt so much calmer. I feel safe to burn these non toxic candles in my bedroom every night. I'm now thinking to get Beeswax Ceremonial Candle in Glass as light next to my bed, just trying to figure out which one is more economical long term. Very high quality products and such warming customer service. Thank you for the little gift too, much appreciate it :)

Superb candle

This candle has the most gorgeous honey smell and burns all day or night. Great in blackouts! We love to burn a votive on cold winter days. This is my 2nd favourite Happy Flame candle, but only a smidge behind the tealight candles
