The Mullumbimby community has always been one of our biggest supporters. They are the true believers when it comes to beeswax candles, so it is fitting to name a candle after the town and community.
We created the Mullumbimby Light for when you want to burn a candle for short times. That doesn't mean you can't burn it for a long time, but being a narrow candle it is ideal for shorter times too. A great alternative to a votive, (which needs a glass holder) the Mullumbimby Lights don't need a holder.
Meditation, bath time, dinner time, story time before bed... perfect times for the Mullumbimby Light is perfect.
Since 2006 Happy Flame has hand made beeswax candles in the Northern Rivers of NSW, Australia.
Our beeswax is sourced from the local area and is renown for being the highest quality and cleanest in Australia.
We do not add anything to our beeswax. Your candles are 100% beeswax. That means no oils, no additives, and definitely no other types of wax.
Our candle wicks are made of cotton, no metals or other nasty materials. These are 100% natural wicks for your health.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a minimum time I should burn the Mullumbimby Light candles?
Minimum ideal burn time is 45 minutes for the votives candles. This allows the candle to burn to the edge
Do these the Mullumbimby Light need a glass holder to burn in?
No, the Mullumbimby Lights are made to burn freestanding, with out a holder. We like to put our pillar candles on a plate, as the candle does burn al the way to the bottom.
Love these candles - the Mullum is probably my favourite Happy Flame candle, because it can stand on a small dish and burns cleanly, using up almost all the wax (no glass holder to clean later!). They seem simple and honest that way. Love the scent of melting beeswax too, and the fact that it's good for the air around us, the air we breathe - which is especially important for me as I live in a small space. Always feel better after lighting one of these in the evening, no matter what kind of day it's been :-)
Thank you Louise, so glad you are enjoying our candles.

Peter
